Top Ten Tuesday: Books to Movies

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday (: This is a weekly meme held by The Broke and the Bookish. If you want to know more, click here. This week's topic is the top ten books I'd like to be seen made into movies. If these books were made into movies, I'd be the happiest book nerd alive. By the way, the list is in no particular order.

1.) Nightshade Series by Andrea Cremer- For all the Nightshade fans out there, I think every one of you guys would love to see this book turned into a movie. There's action, romance, and there would be some pretty sweet special affects.

2.) Catching Fire and Mockingjay- I know that these books are already more than likely going to be made into movies, but I have to express my excitement for their release(: The Hunger Games movie was an action packed movie, just imagine what the rest of the series would be like when they're movies.

3.) The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkins- This would be an amazing movie. The book was amazing, and, if done right, then the movie would be just a good. The books has some pretty gruesome/amazing details and it would be amazing if they could make that into a box office hit.

4.) Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi- If this book were made into a movie, it would be one kick-butt dystopian movie. I wasn't too much of a fan of the book, but I think it would make a great movie.

5.) Divergent by Veronica Roth- Action packed with an amazing romance. Enough said.

6.) Everneath by Brodi Ashton- I would definitely be one of the first people to see this movie. I fell in love with the book and it would have some amazing special affects.

7.) Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake- For some reason, I just think this would be an amazing movie.

8.) Partials by Dan Wells- This would be an amazing dystopian movie. I would be soo happy if this hit the big screen.

9.) Jekel Loves Hyde by Beth Fantaskey- I loved this book. It has romance and action, plus it's just a great story over all. It would be a great movie.

10.) Where I Belong by Gwendolyn Heasley- I'm a country girl, and the setting of this book was mainly in Texas, so it's definitely a winner for me. (:

  1. Great list! Half of these books were on my list. The Nightshade series would be super good movies, along with Divergent. New follower here! Here's mine: unearthlyreviews.blogspot.com/2012/04/top-ten-tuesday-books-to-movies.html

  2. I've heard good things about "Divergent," but I haven't taken the plunge yet. Maybe after the whole trilogy's out and people have a balanced view of the big picture, I'll give them a go. If I'm going to get another "Mockingjay," I at least want a hint ahead of time.

    1. Yeah, I agree. Mockingjay was a disappointment for the end of a trilogy. I'm not looking forward to waiting for the third book in the Divergent series, but I'm hoping it was better than the Hunger Games.
