Calla has always welcomed war.
But now that the final battle is upon her, there's more at stake than fighting. There's saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay's wrath. There's keeping Ansel safe, even if he's been branded a traitor. There's proving herself as the pack's alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers' magic once and for all. And then there's deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.
Review:
This book took my breath away. Partially because it hit me that the series was over, partially because I was frustrated, and partially because I was happy with the way things turned out. Bloodrose kept me turning pages. I simply could not put this book down as I was reading it.
I felt so many emotions as I was reading this: happiness, nervousness, sadness, just all the "nesses." The ending was not anything like I predicted and it was a jaw-dropping moment. The whole series, I was bouncing from Ren to Shay and back again.
After the final battle, I was just so upset that the book ended. I loved this book. Hands down. If you're a Nightshade series fan and haven't read this book yet, you need to read it ASAP. This book was marvelous, from beginning to end.

Ah, I only had the chance to read a couple of pages before returning it to the library. It was a little disappointing for me in the beginning but... I guess I should give this a chance and see if I'll love it as much as the first 2 books!
