Review:
So, I didn't like this book as much I liked the first one. Since The Hunger Games ended in a cliff hanger, I was dying to read this book. I couldn't get my hands on it soon enough. But then I read it, and I was slightly let down.

Katniss is jumping from guy to guy, she has guys vying for her attention, and yet she barely recognizes the fact that Peeta's completely in love with her. She uses him when she needs him, that's about it. It almost seems like Suzanne Collins writing completely changed in this book. Katniss has completely changed from the person she was in the first book, and it just lost me. I was truely depressed through half of this book, which is a turn off. In the first book, Katniss was such a strong female protagonist, but it seems like she complains and is weak in the sequel. It just didn't seem right to me.

But, on to the good points, the book was a page turner. When it comes to the action part of the book, I was caught up in it. The subplots with Peeta/Katniss vs. Gale/Katniss drove me bonkers. With her changing her mind all the time, I was just angry. Anyways, back to where I was, it was an interesting sequel and honestly, it was unpredictable to me. It was a pretty good book overall. Not a 5 tree, but still pretty decent.
